About this Frame TV artwork
Ravens circling a ruined tower: a seasonal piece painted in a traditional style, without cartoon characters or lettering, so the Frame TV looks like it is showing a holiday painting rather than a card.
Painted as a watercolor, the piece relies on granulating pigment and loose, wet-into-wet edges rather than hard outlines – the texture that reads as paper, not pixels, on a 4K screen. The medium is minimal ink and wash.
It suits a living-room Frame TV above a sofa, where the wide composition can be seen from across the room. Because the subject stays inside the safe area, you can add any of the Frame's digital mattes without cropping anything important. It is part of the Halloween rotation – atmospheric rather than gory, so it can stay on the Frame all October.
Supplied as a 3840 × 2160 sRGB JPEG, it needs no resizing or cropping for the Samsung Frame, and displays correctly on LG, Sony, TCL and Hisense art-mode TVs too. This design is one of 1,267 in the bundle.
