About this Frame TV artwork

Maple seeds on wet slate, composed with generous space around the bloom so the subject sits well inside the bezel or a digital matte on the Frame TV.

A minimalist ink treatment keeps the composition to essentials, with tonal washes standing in for detail and a lot of quiet space around the subject. The medium is monochrome minimalist abstraction.

It suits a living-room Frame TV above a sofa, where the wide composition can be seen from across the room. Leave the Frame's motion sensor on so the panel dims when the room is empty – it makes the difference between a painting and a screen. It sits in the fall collection and looks its best from September through November.

Supplied as a 3840 × 2160 sRGB JPEG, it needs no resizing or cropping for the Samsung Frame, and displays correctly on LG, Sony, TCL and Hisense art-mode TVs too. This design is one of 1,267 in the bundle.
