About this Frame TV artwork
A holiday scene of snowy Christmas market without signs, kept painterly and text-free so it can stay on the TV for the whole season and come back next year.
Gouache gives the design flat, velvety colour and crisp decorative shapes – a matte finish that hides the fact that it is on a screen. The medium is decorative folk gouache.
Try it in a hallway or study Frame with a wide matte – the extra border makes the composition feel gallery-hung. If the image looks too bright, the Frame's Art Mode settings let you lower brightness independently of TV mode; a small reduction goes a long way with this palette. It belongs to the Christmas set, so it is the kind of piece that goes up after Thanksgiving and can stay through New Year.
Supplied as a 3840 × 2160 sRGB JPEG, it needs no resizing or cropping for the Samsung Frame, and displays correctly on LG, Sony, TCL and Hisense art-mode TVs too. This design is one of 1,267 in the bundle.
