About this Frame TV artwork
A holiday scene of christmas stockings above a stone hearth, kept painterly and text-free so it can stay on the TV for the whole season and come back next year.
Gouache gives the design flat, velvety colour and crisp decorative shapes – a matte finish that hides the fact that it is on a screen. The medium is decorative folk gouache.
It works well in a bedroom, where the muted tones and low Art Mode brightness keep the TV from glowing at night. For the most convincing result set Art Mode brightness two or three notches below the default and the colour tone to warm; the painted surface then looks matte rather than lit. It belongs to the Christmas set, so it is the kind of piece that goes up after Thanksgiving and can stay through New Year.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,267-piece Frame TV art bundle.
