About this Frame TV artwork
Dia de los Muertos marigolds and an original decorated calavera: a seasonal piece painted in a traditional style, without cartoon characters or lettering, so the Frame TV looks like it is showing a holiday painting rather than a card.
Painted in opaque gouache, it has the slightly chalky, matte surface of a folk print, with clean shapes and no glossy highlights. The medium is decorative folk gouache.
It is a natural fit for a dining room or kitchen Frame, where a painted subject at eye level reads as a hung canvas. Leave the Frame's motion sensor on so the panel dims when the room is empty – it makes the difference between a painting and a screen.
The file is delivered at 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K UHD, 16:9) as an sRGB JPEG – the native resolution of every Samsung Frame from 43" to 85" and a format every 4K TV, Roku and Fire TV accepts. It is included in the 1,267-design Frame TV art bundle.
